< return to list
Starts: 10-24-2024
Location: Online Opportunity

Description:

The Regional and Roundtable Committee is looking for volunteers.

The purpose of AHIA’s Regional and Roundtable Committee is to coordinate in-person events that provide educational and peer networking opportunities throughout the year across the country. Where and when possible, the Committee also seeks event speakers and sponsors to support the events to offset the cost for participants.

  • CAE Roundtable - typically a smaller group than the regional events with a limit of thirty individuals. This venue provides a confidential platform to learn and share on audit topics that are decided by the attendees in an environment where they can speak freely. Attendees typically receive 4 hours of CPEs.
  • Regional Conference - planned for approximately sixty attendees and provides education on current and relevant topics by health care auditors and subject matter experts. Attendees typically receive 7 hours of CPEs.

You can volunteer in the following ways:

  • Join the Roundtable and Regional committee!! We are a working committee of three and would welcome new members.
  • Provide your facility space for the events with no or minimal cost.
  • Speak on an audit topic.
  • Serve as an AHIA representative along with the sponsor to ensure the event is running smoothly.
  • Connect external sponsors interested in partnering with AHIA to the committee.
