Susan has spent nearly three decades working in a variety of clinical and managerial capacities including healthcare advocacy, compliance management, provider practice administration, internal audit, and quality outcomes. A former clinical director and outreach initiative coordinator, she has a demonstrated record of success in program development and expansion as well as the ability to form mutually beneficial relationships. Susan is a hands-on manager and decisive team leader with highly developed negotiation skills and experience cultivating strategic healthcare business partnerships, performing compliance program effectiveness assessments, recruiting and directing teams, developing performance improvement measures, and creating effective training programs.
Susan is a Certified Internal Auditor with additional Certification in Risk Management Assurance through the IIA. She is also a Certified Professional Coder through AAPC and am certified in Healthcare Compliance through HCCA.
